Workers' Compensation
We work with injured employees, employers, and case managers to deliver prompt evaluation, clear documentation, and treatment focused on a safe return to work.
Our specialty-trained doctors evaluate, diagnose, and treat the full range of workers' compensation conditions and injuries — always starting with the most conservative effective option, and offering advanced surgical care when it's needed.
Care is available at both our Torrington and Bristol offices, with on-site X-ray, physical and occupational therapy, and many procedures performed at the Litchfield Hills Surgery Center.
Common conditions we treat
- Work-related back and neck injuries — lifting, repetitive-motion, and accident injuries on the job
- Occupational hand and wrist conditions — carpal tunnel and tendon problems from repetitive work
- Workplace fractures and trauma — acute injuries requiring urgent evaluation and clear documentation
- Repetitive strain injuries — shoulder, elbow, and knee problems that build over time
How we treat them
Treatment always starts with the most conservative effective option. Depending on your condition, your plan may include:
- Prompt evaluation with on-site X-ray so treatment starts quickly
- Clear, timely documentation for employers, insurers, and case managers
- Treatment plans focused on a safe, realistic return to work
- Work-capacity guidance and coordination with your employer's requirements
When to see a doctor
Report workplace injuries to your employer promptly, then get evaluated — early, well-documented care protects both your health and your claim. Bring your claim information to your first visit and our staff will handle the paperwork coordination.
