Proudly serving professional, collegiate, and high school athletes since 1950. Our surgeons bring experience from the highest levels of sport: Dr. Christopher Betz served on the medical staff for the Red Sox organization and cares for the New Britain Bees and Bristol Blues, and Dr. Leigh Brezenoff completed fellowship training treating professional and Division I athletes. Injury evaluation, arthroscopic surgery, and return-to-play rehabilitation for athletes of every level.
Our specialty-trained doctors evaluate, diagnose, and treat the full range of sports medicine conditions and injuries — always starting with the most conservative effective option, and offering advanced surgical care when it's needed.
Care is available at both our Torrington and Bristol offices, with on-site X-ray, physical and occupational therapy, and many procedures performed at the Litchfield Hills Surgery Center.

- ACL, meniscus, and knee injuries — the most common season-enders in cutting and contact sports
- Shoulder instability and labral tears — from throwing, contact, and overhead sports

When to see a doctor
