Leigh S. Brezenoff, M.D.

After graduating from Union College with his undergraduate degree in biology, Dr. Leigh Brezenoff earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed an internship at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and a residency in orthopedic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. In 2000 he completed a fellowship in sports medicine, shoulder, and elbow surgery affiliated with Georgetown University, where he treated professional and Division I athletes.
Before joining Litchfield Hills Orthopedic Associates, he practiced for four years in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with an active sports medicine practice, serving as team physician for several area high schools and DeSales University.
Dr. Brezenoff has extensive experience in nonoperative rehabilitation of sports injuries and in surgical and nonsurgical care of fractures and chronic joint conditions. He specializes in advanced minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, hip, and knee — including arthroscopy of all three joints, ligament reconstruction, and joint-preserving surgery — and offers total and reverse total shoulder replacement for shoulder arthritis.
