Dr. Jacob Tulipan earned his medical degree at Columbia University in New York. He completed his internship and residency at the Rothman Institute / Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, then a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at Harvard / Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston. He subsequently joined the faculty at the Rothman Institute, serving as Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at both Thomas Jefferson University and Geisinger Commonwealth medical schools before joining Litchfield Hills Orthopedic Associates.
Dr. Tulipan has lectured and presented research on hand surgery at national meetings and authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery, with a subspecialty certificate in surgery of the hand, and specializes in conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow as well as procedures on the peripheral nervous system.
